Requirements For 2025 Georgetown University GHD Scholarship in the USA
Applicants to the Global Human Development (GHD) Program should meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- Complete introductory courses in macroeconomics, microeconomics, and statistics, earning a grade of B or higher (or the equivalent if a different grading system is used).
- You must complete these courses before enrolling in the program. Since the admissions process is holistic, we will not disadvantage applicants who have not yet finished the required courses.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other language (students must pass an oral proficiency exam in a second language before graduation, so having a reasonable command of one foreign language before entering is ideal).
- A minimum of 1-2 years of full-time work experience after earning an undergraduate degree is strongly encouraged.
- Experience living, studying, and working outside the United States is also strongly recommended.
