Requirements for Hainan University China Link Scholarship 2025

To be considered for the Hainan University China Link Scholarship, you must understand the following:

• Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, in good physical and mental health, with strong academic performance and good behavior.
•  They must agree to follow Chinese laws, university rules, respect Chinese culture and customs, and meet all entry and exit conditions for China.
• Applicants must be under 45 years old for general scholar programs and under 50 years old for senior scholar programs.
• Language Requirements:
• Applicants for Chinese-taught programs must have an HSK Band 4 score of 180 or higher.
• Applicants for English-taught programs must have one of the following English test scores: TOEFL score of 560 or higher (paper-based test) or 78 or higher (internet-based test), or an overall IELTS band of 6.0 or higher.
• Exemption from submitting English test scores:
•  Students from English-speaking countries (where English is a native or official language) are exempt from submitting English language certificates.

• Go to the “CSC Study in China” website and click on “Scholarship Application for Students.”  
• Create an account by selecting [CREATE AN ACCOUNT] and log in with your credentials.  
• Enter your personal details.  
• Select the appropriate “Program Category.”  
• Enter the correct “Agency Number” (Hainan University’s agency number is 10589).  
• Fill in the application information and upload the required documents.  
• Click “Print the Application Form” and download it.  
• Submit your scholarship application according to the requirements of the dispatching authorities (or application processing agency).  
• Applicants must also submit scanned copies and complete the University online application system by the deadline.
