Eligibility Requirements For the 2025 University of Oulu Scholarship in Finland

Candidates are eligible to apply for a University of Oulu Scholarship 2025, if they are:

• Non-EU/EEA citizens without a permanent residence permit in Finland
• For a Master’s degree program at the University of Oulu for the 2025/2026 academic year:

– Applicants must have completed their first academic degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) from an accredited higher education institution. 

– They must also demonstrate a high level of English language proficiency through approved methods. 

– Those in their final term/semester of studies during the application period are also eligible to apply. 

– Applicants receiving a conditional offer for a Master’s program will be given a conditional scholarship offer.

Required Documents for the 2025 University of Oulu Scholarship in Finland

Applicants must be prepared to submit the following documents:

• Proof of language proficiency
• A copy of the degree certificate
• A copy of the transcript of records
• Translations of the degree certificate and transcript of records if they are in a language other than Finnish, Swedish, or English
• Any additional documents required for the specific program

• There is no separate application process for the International Finland Scholarships. All applicants for the University of Oulu Master’s degree programs must fill out the Student Application Form. 
• Additionally, applicants seeking the University of Oulu International Master’s Scholarship must complete the “Application for Scholarship,” which is available at the end of the Student Application Form. 
• The scholarship application cannot be completed or submitted without the Student Application Form.
