Requirements for the California State University Scholarship in USA 2025
Ideal candidates for the California State University Scholarship should have an interest in:
- Marine ecology and aquaculture,
- Collaborating with a team of interdisciplinary scientists at CSUN (Drs. Janet K’bler, Steve Dudgeon, Andrew Ainsworth, and Scott Applerouth) across fields such as marine ecology, molecular biology, and social sciences,
- Engaging with diverse groups of people,
- Strong quantitative skills or a willingness to develop them.
- Candidates must either hold an American Association of Underwater Scientists (AAUS) SCUBA diving certification or be willing to obtain one. A keen interest in developing molecular biology and field ecology skills is also highly desirable.

To apply for the California State University Scholarship, interested and qualified candidates should:

- Submit an application to the CSUN Graduate Program in Biology by the February 15, 2025 deadline.
- Applicants must apply separately to the CSUN Graduate School and the Graduate Program in the Department of Biology.
