Eligibility/Requirements For the FCM Foundation Scholarship For Nigerians 2025
To be eligible for the FCM Foundation Scholarship For Nigerians 2025, you must:
- Female Muslim undergraduates in their first year (100-level)
- Enrolled as full-time students at the University of Lagos, Akoka, or Lagos State University, Ojo
- Aged between 16 and 19 years
- To qualify, candidates must possess at least six credit passes in the SSCE, preferably obtained in a single sitting.
- Achieved a minimum score of 250 in the most recent UTME before admission
- In good physical, mental, and psychological health
- Exhibit strong moral character and leadership potential.
Required Documents for the First Class Muslim Scholarship
Applicants must be prepared to provide the following documents:
- JAMB Admission Letter
- Proof of current enrollment at the institution (e.g., ID card, biodata form, etc.)
- A reference letter from a reputable Islamic organization (Note: Institution-based student organizations are not acceptable)
- The reference letter must be on official letterhead and addressed to The Executive Director, First Class Muslim Foundation, Lagos, Nigeria.
- The letter should specifically address the applicant’s character; moreover, it should not be generic.
- Letters that are improperly addressed or generic will lead to disqualification.
- Birth certificate or affidavit of age
- Original WAEC result
- Original UTME result
- Current academic transcript showing GPA (if available)
- A personal statement explaining why the applicant should be considered for the scholarship.
