Requirements For the Hansen Leadership Institute Scholarship

To be considered for the Hansen Leadership Institute Fellowship, you must:

For International Students:

• Education: Candidates must be an upper-division undergraduate (with at least two years of college completed) or a graduate student.
• Age: Between 20–26 years old by July 1, 2025.
• English Proficiency: Proficiency must be verified by an academic advisor.
• Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership through community service or non-governmental work.
• Valid Passport and Visa: Must possess a valid passport and be able to obtain a U.S. visa.
• First-Time U.S. Visitors Preferred: Preference is given to applicants who have never visited the U.S.

For U.S. Students:

• Education: Must meet the same educational requirements as international students.
• Age: Between 20–26 years old by July 1, 2025.
• Leadership Experience: Similar leadership involvement as required for international applicants.
