Rotary Club International invites brilliant but indigent students in federal or state Tertiary Institutions in Lagos and Ogun State, Nigeria, to participate in the DEWEF Scholarship Awards for the pioneer 2024-2025 Rotary Year.

Eligibility for the Rotary/DEWEF Scholarship Program for Undergraduate Students

The applicants must be: 

• Indigent student, smart and with good morals
• Students enrolled in either federal or state higher education institutions in Lagos or Ogun State.
• Students who completed their first year (100 Level) and are now in their second year (200 Level) or have HND 1 with ND Results or NCE, 200 Level (3.5 GPA/CGPA on a 5-point scale and 3.0 on a 4-point scale).

Note: Children of Rotarians are not eligible to apply

Required Documents for Application

Applicants must send in:

• Recommendation letter from the candidate’s university or tertiary institution.
• Relevant educational credentials
• First-year exam results

How to Apply

Interested candidates are expected to apply through the Rotary Clubs in their community.

Selected candidates are to be recommended to the District for the attention of the undersigned (i.e., Chairman, District DEWEF Scholarship Committee not later than the deadline)
